TR2/3/3A TR3A temp Gauge

Bet nobody's had their TR run too COLD! My 59 has ALWAYS run a tad hot....just a tick above 185....goes up to about 210 when the pusher fan comes on. For the past couple of weeks it has run just BELOW 185 and when we went out for some exersize tonight the gage never got above 150. Fan came on, so I know the car was hot.......anyone experience this before?I have a feeling I already know the answer, I'd bet I'm losing gas in the temp tube and it's time for an expensive rebuild. Any other ideas?

That's exactly what happened to me last year, time for a rebuild. Here is the thread on my temp gauge!
