TR3A running with Pertronix ignition and unleaded gas (91 octane) in Arizona heat. What is the best choice for spark plugs? Presently, it has Champion L87YC and it is time to replace them (and the spark plug wires). Keep using Champions? NGK BP(R)6HS? Of the hotter NGK BP(R) 5HS, reccomended in one of the threads because of the unleaded gas. Or a Bosch plug? Someone ecommended Bosch Platinum Plus 4032. Thanks.

That is what I use -- seems fine. I prefer copper core wires as the pointy bits in the distributor cap seem to connect better with those than fiber core type. I got a 'universal' 8-cylinder kit from CARQUEST that is essentially a lifetime supply for the small amount a TR engine needs.
 
I haven't swapped around much on plugs but the old champion L87s have always been what I use. I've bought several cars over the years that have had Bosch installed, usually I replaced them.

The ol mad dog loves his NGK's having given up on champion after a long affair.
They last and last,dont foul easily and are OTC anywhere. Bosch?? just bad luck at a bad price.
