TR2/3/3A TR3a seat -- is it original?

While tearing the material off of my TR3 seat bottom I noticed a small tag attached to one of the springs. Has anyone ever seen this before? I believe my seats were original and attached a picture of what it looked like before I cut off the red leather.

I'll try it again.

When I re-did my seats, I seem to recall a similar tag. I didn't think much about it and discarded it. Perhaps I should have kept it to keep things original!

Looks all original to me. I found where the uphoulster signed his name, in very neat script, with pencil, on the wooden seat frame of the 58 Jag I had

Original, no worries.

No doubt that's original...so much so that, if it were mine, I'd be tempted to condition it back to suppleness, then have it restitched and maybe have the small tears in the one panel patched or oversewn. But I do tend to be a bit obsessive on the originality thing.
