TR2/3/3A Tr3a lost power go uphill

Uphill is the clue here and it makes one suspect the fuel supply first. Can you park the car on a similar incline and duplicate the condition? If so, disconnect the fuel line at the carbs and look at the stream while operating the primer lever. Bob
 
I bought a Carter low pressure (2-4 psi) electric fuel pump from Summit Racing and installed it inside the frame rail about 1/2 way between the tank and the engine compartment, put the fuel pump relay next to the voltage regulator and added an impact cut-off switch near the brake/clutch reservoir on the fire wall. It pumps straight through the A/C fuel pump. Fuel filter before the fuel pump and another on the feed pipe to the front H6. Works well. Whole set-up cost about $125.
