Was out on an errand and saw a light blue TR3A sitting in the street behind a car hauler. The driver had just unloaded it to get at another car. It is a California black plate & bound for Texas. Dashed home to get a camera, by then it was back on the trailer...

The front passenger side was filled with what appeared to be boxes of parts - one could only imagine the goodies hidden there.

Very nice looking except that '60 Chevy above it is a leaker so there is some oil to be cleaned up on the bonnet.

looks like a nice car.

The car was owned for many years by a SoCal TR enthusiast, former SCTOA prez, former VTR Board member, & Triumphest/VTR National Co Chairperson, in the Los Angeles area. It is on its way to a new owner in San Antonio.

I have pics of that one on my pc - not sure what the source was but I think it was a recent ebay listing? I needed the pics of the hardtop. Very nice indeed, will keep my eye out!

Oops, I see that Bob beat me to it.

Thanks -- I thought I had seen it when it was for sale recently but couldn't find the ad in a brief search.

I had it saved in my watch list:
Nice TR.

I'm assuming Paulette kept her nice TR4 though?

Yep, that's it. Now suffering the (temporary) indignities of cross country cartage (being soiled by an incontinent Chebby):

Nevertheless, the new owner should be delighted to have it home.

Sorry to see this kind of treatment of a great car, but I'm sure the new owner will be glad to have it home. I had an excellent experience with the shipment of mine recently by Dave Mazzalupo, https://www.mazzalupocarriers.co. Communication was good, enclosed trailer, and very experienced handling.

Yes, Paulette is keeping her TR4 and will continue to be involved with the Triumph hobby.
