Well the 1962 Tr3a is gone. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/nopity.gif After 45 years we said goodbye yesterday. The new owner picked it up to take it back to Conn. Glad to see it will be put to use. Gentleman is going to rebuild it. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/grin.gif I want to thank the people at the Triumph Forum for helping, only wish I had found the site sooner.
Thanks! /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/thankyousign.gif

I hope in a while it makes it to a car show or just for a New England drive! /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/cheers.gif

Well the front end from the wreck in May will be redone. But it's red (I know really helpful) Dave's website has pictures of it during the wreck. You can see it there.

I almost forgot to give you the website for Dave Reese

Here are the photos from David Steen that I received today. It starts with his Dad working on the car before the accident:

Here are the photos of the car after the accident:

Finally these are a directory of the photos now that David has spent the summer removing the damaged parts:

Can you believe my dad walked a way with a little scratch on his knee? Against a (Gulp) SEMI-TRUCK!!!

You just have to come away from that one knowing there
is a God.

Sorry about the car, but glad to hear your Dad suffered
only minor scrapes.

another testiment to tr3's heavy body and great design. When it wrecked it didn't even leak oil!! /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/banana.gif

No I didn't but his I'll get his e-mail for anyone that want's to invite him. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/driving.gif
Dave, thanks again for posting pics!!! /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/bow.gif

Interesting to me that that 2 seat roadster took on a Semi and won and had NO airbags, antilock brakes, or any other modern high tech safety components. Go figure........

Things that make you go HMMMMMMM... /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/confused.gif
