While replacing the radiator in my TR3a. I noticed oil deposits on the front of the engine, and surrounding frame members. The engine was rebuilt a bit over a year ago.
My assumption is the front engine seal is leaking, even though I am sure it was replaced as part of the engine rebuild.
Is it possible that circumference of the front hub has worn over the years (80,000 miles) and the new seal is too large as a result of the worn hub? I see Moss carries a "speedi-sleeve" to solve the problem, assuming this is my problem.
