TR2/3/3A TR3A Electrical problem

Did you mean a white wire with a red strip in your earlier post? Is there one wirer or two? Yes, I wonder why the hot wire (red and white) from the key to the solenoid stays hot after you energize the solenoid by turning the key on. My guess would be the ignition switch when turned on energizes the solenoid but does not stop energizing. I would guess from here the ignition switch is sticking on. This goes back to what Steve M was saying about testing circuits with a meter to see things like is the ignition switch shut off.
