TR2/3/3A TR3A carpeting

I'm looking at this pile of carpet pieces I have for my TR3A project. I see how most of it lays in, but a couple of pieces puzzle me. Does anyone have installation instructions? My kit is a Moss Motors product. Any diagrms out there for where to put snaps, where to glue, what pieces have to "shaped" into a fit, etc. I'm in the dark, heah........as Al Pacino said in
"Scent of a Woman".
 
You'll probably want to specify your commission number (or at least say pre-60K or post-60K) as the floor and carpet changed at that point.

In general I think you want to avoid gluing even if that proves to be original. Sooner or later you'll be hanging the pieces on the clothes line (or fence) to dry.

Only snaps are for the floorboard carpet, you can put them anywhere you want, usually 4 to a side. You have to match them with the male part that is screwed or pop riveted to the floor. For that reason I don't ever install them. The floor make enough holes of their own. Don't glue them either. I use a rubber mat in the floor and keep the carpet in the trunk unless showing the car.

I do use some glue for the rear deck, The side kick panels I use screws for them, trans cover I lay in. Bulkhead above the trans is glued as well. Floors as mentioned earlier, I lay in, seat tracks bolted down on the rear floor carpet.

Thanks, Marv, big help. I've seen some velcro jobbies that might work in place of snaps. Would hold the carpeting in place without putting holes in the floor pan.
