I have one that is in pretty good shape. The battery box had been cut out of the firewall to make room for a straight six Buick lump by the PO! I have a new battery box to replace it. The rockers are in good shape and the floors are solid except for 2" cut out on either side of the trans cover. Minor dings and some bondo in some places. I want to sell this shell to finance a TR4A resto. Anyone have any idea on what something like this would sell for?

Curious, are the brass ID plates intact? The top plate would be "EB12345", and the bottom, all numbers beginning with 9 or 1. They would be attached by sheet metal screws on the bulkhead above the battery box. How about photos?

My guess would be a shell like that would be worth a couple of grand if it is really straight.

I'd get lots of other opinions however...

Yes the Vin numbers are still there. I'll post some photos when I get a chance. I might offer it up to the local Triumph Drivers Club first. I'm in Winnipeg,Canada.

That sounds like your best idea. the prospect of trying to ship somthing like that is gonna kill it's potential value to many people.
Best of luck finding it a good home.
If it were closer, I know several people who'd be intrested.
