For those interested, Classic Motorsport's latest issue, March '07, has a very nice article on a nitrous V8 powered TR3. Puts out over 500 hp. I wonder if he gets any scuttle shake.
It appears to be well sorted and is a very pretty car.
 
It looks better in person. It was at the VTR in Rockford Il. last 2005.

Supercharged as well with a Novitech Supercharger.

I thought one of the interesting things was that the stock Triumph rear end would take the power going up through the gears without a problem but would come apart when downshifting under power.
 
I'll put my money on the axle splines getting stripped off inside the differetial gears. Happened to the racecar when superbrakes were added at the rear in the years before I bought it(Mustang dual pistons) by the PO. And apparently the same thing happened to the factory LeMans cars in testing when they first added rear disc brakes.
