TR2/3/3A TR3 turn signal replacement

Has anyone figured out a different way to mount turn signals on a TR3a? I just finished installing a rack and pinion and had to fabricate a method of running the turn signal and horn wires through the steering column. The problem is that the steering column is only hollow for half its length, then there is a u-joint that is the beginning of the rack and pinon installation. Right now the wires exit the u-joint and very loosely wrap around the solid bottom half of the steering column and then onto the wiring harness. This is ok for now but not a good solution.

Is there a lever or switch that can mount on the panel?

Thanks,
Murray

Well, you could use an early Sprite switch. They were panel mounts.

Hey Murray; I used an spring cord from a microphone and drilled a hole behind hub and used the the horn that way. The signals I added a three way switch to the dash.
