When I drive to work in the AM my TR3 runs really great. In the PM after the afternoon warm up I seem to loose a little power. Nothing real bad just not a good as in the morning. I know this is due to air density, but does anyone have any ideas on how to reduce the effect?

Since we most often notice small changes in power during acceleration and since that is the one time when your damper oil comes in to play... you might try a thicker weight oil.

I use a heavy oil and get the opposite effect on chilly mornings... somewhat poor running until engine compartment heat gets the damper oil warmed up. Perhaps like you, chilly mornings here are a rare and seasonal thing -- most of the year the heavy (20W50) damper oil is about right for all (read hot) driving conditions.
