Thanks for your note Matrix 5 and I am kinda old school and not sure of the initials you describe. One problem with the old Saab is that it is an 89 9000 and the computer stuff for the Abs systems analysis did not come out until 92, but the Saab central forum maintains that I can just swap in a 92 computer, and it will tell the tail. I have never swapped out or in a computer before. I do know where it is and it is easy to get at. I am just chicken. I guess I should join the brave new world and use some of this diagnostic stuff. Having said all that when I purchased the vehicle the abs light was on and with my new found OCD (I learn that on the forum too) I replaced the front sensor that was broken and now have the light turned off until 20 mph. More problematic, these are the old sensors that are adjustable and adjusted to .65 so perhaps I can lower or raise it and clean off the knurled disc and see. As said, I am just chicken and afraid that I will mess it up more if I swap out the computer because the units electrical hookups look well sealed from the factory and I did not want to disturb the factory moister seal. See the chicken.
