Anyone using Rubber O rings for their carb jets and know the size. I ordered some carb parts from Moss but mistakenly only ordered 1 O ring instead of 6. Rather than put in another order I'd like to see if I can get them locally but I need the the size. THx Karl

If by matched them up you mean you sourced locally by matching what you got in the kit, all good, I did the same thing on my Healey a few years ago, but I would add that o-rings are not all created equal, and if you don't know what it is made of I would soak them in some gas overnight to make sure they don't start disintigrating. Maybe you are way ahead of me and got them at NAPA or somewhere and they are specifically intended for automotive fuel system use, but if you didn't I would test them before I fit them.

Regards, Greg

Yes I got them at an O ring supply house. You make a good point. I'll soak them in gas to see how they react. Do you think a small squirt of silicone spray lube on the o rings would keep them lubrictated so the jet would move easier or maybe a drop of 3 in 1 oil? Seems to me that the cork o rings would dry out eventually and crumble. Have you used the rubber o rings on your SU jets successfully?
