My wife and I were in the video store last night looking for a fewmovies to rent for the holiday... something I rarely have time to do. This movie jumped right at me...Flywheel.

The DVD jacket features a white '58 TR3 and, from reading the jacket, seemed to be an inspirational story about a man who turns his life around.

It turns out to be a Christian themed story produced by a church in Georgia. I'm not a "Bible-thumper" (for lack of a better description) but I do have religious beliefs. My wife was amazed that I enjoyed the movie. It does have a heavy dose of Bible quotes in a few scenes but I certainly considered it entertaining and, while the TR wasn't the star of the show, it played an importatnt part in both the beginning and the end of the flick and showed up in several scenes during the movie.

If you see this movie at the video store you may want to take it home. I guess I'd sooner watch something like this that, at least, puts it's agenda in plain sight rather than watching some of Hollwood's hidden-agenda blockbusters.

Warning...The lead character describes the TR as a 'coupe" near the start of the movie...made me laugh.

Thanks! Looks like it might be a good one for the youth group at church.

Neat movie. I loved the clip where he's trying to give the old lady the $1200. Cracked me up.
I'm gonna find that. My dad's a pastor, and an LBC owner. He'll love it.

Looks like a funny movie. On the netflix it is marked as a "long wait", must be good.
