I have a TR3 that I use a daily driver in the summer.(mechanically restored but rough around the edges cosmetically). I had another that I was going to restore but realized thet I'd probably never get to it as I have other projects that I want to work on.I sold the the shell and frame to the 2nd TR3 and now I have a lot of parts left over which leads to my question. I'm going to sell some to local TR guys, put some on Ebay and offer some on this forum but I would like to get some idea of what the parts are worth before I do so.ei. steering wheel?...set of side curtains...cockpit capping... bumpers etc. Also what would a running TR4 motor with Strombergs and excellent compression go for? I know its whatever the market will bear. Does anyone have a list of what TR3 parts have sold for recently? Karl

Condition times demand times .5 of retail price for the replacement part...if that does'nt help make something up.

I Agree with MD on the .5 times the retail. On eBay you will find that it sets the market value through the bidding system. If you were to do a search on ebay for TR 3 parts you would find out quickly what's selling and what it goes for.

Good Luck, Tinkerman

On ebay, I'd argue a smaller value, say 0.25-0.3 retail unless you have something particularly nice and rare - in which case the sky is the limit.

I'd put a list together with realistic asking prices and them PM it to interest folk. I'd take a look.
