TR2/3/3A TR3 Small Mouth Inner Fender Holes

My '58 is a bit odd as someone put a small mouth front apron on it which I'm happy with. What was done to the TR3A front inner fenders to accept the small apron does not make me happy. I am currently straightening out the sheet metal. The TR3 inner fenders had a hole cut in them. Was that hole to accept the back of the turn signal assembly? Did the wiring come out of the back of the light assembly then thru the hole in the inner fender and then sneak back into the engine bay? Any pictures of this would be appreciated. Also the location and diameter of the hole would be very useful.

It's not a hole it is an indentation.

I think I answered this on another site, but if you put a smallmouth front apron on a 3A, you have to cut holes to accommodate the side lights.

On the 1957 the indents that Graham shows are cut out and a longer light assembly is used. The wire is brought back through a hole into the engine bay.
