TR2/3/3A TR3 Side Curtains

Mine is a late 56 TR3 with the wedge style side curtains (although I don't have any).
Can the Dzuz style curtains simply have a wedge fastened to the side bars for proper fitment?
I see many later styles on ebay but rarely the earlier wedge models.
Anyone know?

Even if you can attach the wedge, the later sidecurtains have rigid lower sides. Mine are the earlier sidecurtains with the wedges that fit into the chromed bases on the doors and these sidecurtains are flexible on the lower half. Often, if it's too hot or too humid in the TR, I can reach out the sliding window, detach the 4 lift-a-dot fasteners that hold the bottom half of my sidecurtains to the door and with my elbow sticking outwards, I can get a lot of cooler fresh air to come in. The later side curtains with the sigid lower panels cannot do this.
