Shock oil leaking. I remember awhile back that somebody commented if a lever action shock worked well mechanically and yet lost fluid the problem might not be too bad. The rational was that the fluid would only leak out to the bottom of the seal at the arm, and not affect the pistons. Does anyone remember that self serving story?

How bad is the leak ?
I cured a mild leak by replacing the oil with Bars Rear Main Seal Repair oil.

Mine leaked out over the winter. The cause - no sealing washer on the plug. I added a copper washer and all is well.
