I've got it all figured out for the top, front, and lower door seals. My question...is there supposed to be a seal at the rear of the door?

Thanks,

John

John: In a word, NO, at least not attached to the door. Sidescreen doors have two rubber seals, one along the surface which comes in contact with the scuttle ( see below) and another at the bottom of the door where it closes onto the sill. There is a draft excluder (fuzzy seal) which is attached to the 'B' post. This serves as a seal along the rear vertical surface of the door.

Sorry, I don't have a good photo of the bottom door seal (rubber) in place. Here's a shot of the inside of the door showing the holes for the seal clips.

That makes sense. Moss provided plenty of fuzzy seal. My car had no fuzzy seal when I got it...just some generic stick on foam that had turned into tar over the years.

Thanks for the fast response!

John
