HELP!!

Took the body off the frame and the rear apron from the spare tire well down is bad, real bad. I know this isn't anything you guys haven't dealt with before. Any leads on replacement panels without spending a grand through the usual leads(Moss/TRF)? Rumor has it there is someone in the midwest that makes good half rear apron's for a good price. Any advice so I don't have to piece meal this thing together? Thanks in advance!!

Hi JR,

Yes, a difficult piece to repair. I was in the same boat as you not too long ago and had to make a decision. I was lucky and ended up finding a new valence on ebay from a vendor in France. When I recieved it, it still has the Roadster Factory Sticker on it. I got it for about 1/2 the price it is listed in their catalogue.

I was looking at the repair sections as well from Victoria British but they are very expensive as well for what they are.

Reagardless of what you end up doing, you will still have some fitment issues even with the new metal.

I was considering Radford panel in the UK at one point as well.

Good luck with your project.

I will send them an email to check pricing. If only I could be so lucky and find a piece on ebay like that. Thanks for your reply.

Thanks. Just heard back from Radford Panel and the piece I need is only 240 dollars. Thanks for the tip. Of course, I haven't gotten a shipping quote yet. Ouch.

Good to hear. Please post a pic when you recieve your patch panel.

Cheers,

ps hope the shipping is not too bad.
