A few question on the ends of the prop rods. and the inner fender splash seals.

The end of the rod for my deck lid does not look correct. A picture from the TRF catalog shows the mounting part to be different in shape than mine. Mine looks almost home made, and being held on with a screw. Any body have a picture of the correct end?

Does the end of the bonnet rod look to be correct? It seems kind of weak looking.

Should the bonnet, and deek lid rods be painted the body color, including the hook. It looks like some original paint on mine.

Should both metal pieces of the inner fender seal be painted body color? If so should the rubber also be painted (YUCK)? Was the rubber held on with rivets as shown, or should there be screws?

Sorry about that I'm still learning my new computer. No cats in the house just two great dogs.

Looks right to me. I think the rods are body color, the rubber unpainted and the rivets correct. But that's just me.
 
I don't have a picture handy, but mine fit over both studs, instead of just one.

Bonnet prop looks OK, and yes, they are kind of weak.

Prop rods should be body color, I believe, don't know about the seal panels. Mine didn't seem to have been painted at all. The rivets are correct.

The little string is some dental floss I wound around there a couple of years ago to help quiet things down....

Thanks Keven and Randall for the pictures, they are are a big help. Keven one more of the many uses for dental floss.

Randall from your picture, and the TRF catalog drawing it looks as though part of the mounting area of mine is missing. Time to fabricate another part. Do you know what holds the bracket to the rod? Mine is held om with a screw and nut. I'm thinking it should be like the bonnet prop rod.
