TR2/3/3A TR3 Parts Catalogs

A question for all: I have the electronic version of the parts catalog 501653 version 4 - but it seems to me, even though it is dated July 62, it is a TR2 or at best early TR3 version. A lot of things are different on the 3A. Is there a parts catalog or reference book for the 3A? Thanks in advance,

Luke,

I've got the current reprint of what I'm guessing is the same 4th edition (Brooklands version) and I've got a 1959 TR3A as well. I'm curious what differences are you seeing (any examples that I can check out on my car)?

Thanks!

Scott

Unfortunately, that's about the best there is. Most of the changes for the 3A are actually in there, but only listed in the text, not in the illustrations. For example, Plate U shows only the early Lockheed brake MC. Page 50 lists the parts for the later Girling system, but there is no illustration for it.

There are also a lot of changes where the change point is not listed.

And of course, lots of changes that are simply missing. For example, the bonnet change at TS60K (to add the hinge plinths) is not listed.

AFAIK, the TR3B is not covered at all.

Well...take for example plate AK - door parts - there is no detail of the door handle assembly of the 3A. And I will be in Carlisle tomorrow - would like to take the pic with me.

Well that's good to know.

Thanks!
