TR2/3/3A TR3 outer wishbone bushing removal

Hey all,

What's the best method/tool for removing the outer metal bushing from the lower wishbone? Does it matter which side you push it out from? One side of the bushing
has oblong wear so there's not much purchase on the edge. You may be able to see that in the pics below.

Like a dummy, I disassembled, primed and painted the thing nice and shiny before realizing I needed to replace it. doh.

I've always used 2 sockets. One the size of the bushing to either hammer or push on with a press. Then, a larger socket for the bushing to back into. If you cannot find a socket or rod of the proper size, you can also use a hacksaw to carefully cut 2 slots into the bearing and then carefully chisel out. Of the 2 methods...the first is, by far, the preferred.

You can press from either side.
