Aloha All,

Does anyone know of a source for a blanking plate to cover the mechanical fuel pump attachmnet hole on a TR3 engine Block? I have a friend who has converted to an electric pump.

Safety Fast,
Dave

Go to a steel supplier get a piece of 1/8 plate large enough to cover it and cut it down to the right shape then drill two holes. Why spend money on something you can easily make?

Easy to make. Too, I would use a bit of Permatex aircraft sealant. That syrupy, brown, sticky sealer that seals nicely against oil products.

Thanks, using the gasket as a template is a good suggestion, I'll just make one up.

Mahalo,
Dave
