Hello,
I have started a little backwards first asking for help instead of introducing myself but a cracked block is not a best way to start with a dream car.
Any way my name is Tom, I bought my TR3B couple months ago and was hoping to drive it this summer. My red beauty started to overheat and my first discovery was a missing thermostat and then
second one an oil in the radiator. Since I have some experience with European cars I took the head off and uncovered stripped stud tread and cracked block around it.
I hope you all understand no introduction first.
I'm already getting great help from forum members and I'm happy that I have joined BCF.
The car is 1963 (by the title) almost last of TR3 made. It has 2.1L engine and TR4 transmission,
I bought it as a great running car and so far it is GREAT only. Bellow is a couple of pics.
Thanks for all help and I'm looking forward to learn and share information with you Ladies* and Gents.
By the way any one knows how many Ladies?

Newbie Tom

Welcome to the Forum!

Welcome to the BCF. Sadly I parted with my TR3B recently as a downsizing move, but I will always have fond memories of Fagin. This group is wonderful for help with mechanical needs, as well as friendships, and for me it helped me find a new caretaker for my time as a British car owner...https://www.reesed.com/TR3B/photos/R0032194a.jpg
