TR2/3/3A TR3 motor mounts

Can the Motor mounts on a TR3 be changed without removing the engine? Will the tranny hit the firewall before the mount studs are clear? I have the upper and lower A frames out now and I will be taking the apron and radiator out to install a yellow fan and I would like to change the mounts if I could. Thanks

Yes. It's not that big of a deal. they come out fairly easily. Just make sure to re-attach the ground strap on the drivers side.

Yup - I concur with Banjo. I replaced mine without removing anything at all.

Plenty of room to jack up the motor and get them out.

If you intend to keep a crank hole and use a crank you may want to pay attention to any shims you find with the old mounts and how the crank hole lines up with the starter dog with the new mounts.
