Does anyone have p/n for L lever that goes on inside door handle shaft ,and the slotted plate that connects it to the latch,or a supplier who sells this assembly.Catalogs I have and online seem to sell handles and latches only.
Thanks
Tom

Tom, I can't recall these parts ever being sold as seperate repro items. They have always come already fixed to the TR3A-TR3B door latches - LH p/n 650103 or RH p/n 650104.

Not expensive to buy the whole door latch from The Roadster Factory. Or put out a call for someone with spare used doors who will sell you a latch assembly for the parts you need.

Regards,

Viv.

Viv,
Thanks,I bought a new tiawan latch, very nice actually, but no linkage, then just bought two originals with all but one L bracket,on Ebay.
I am getting list together and will call TRF,but thought the new latches included no linkage.
I also had good experience sourcing some missing bits from fellow forum member Marv Gruber.
Thanks
Tom

Great Tom. The Taiwan latch was probably p/n 602090RH or 602089LH made for a TR2 which didn't use the slotted plate and L shaped lever, not having door handles.

The Roadster Factory only sells the later latch with the slotted plate and lever for cars with door handles.

Regards,

Viv.

Viv,Thanks, when I get the used latches with slotted paltes and one lever IUcan compare. It looks like the latch part is the same?
Gettting pretty big list for TRF so thanks for heads up.
Tom

Luke,
Thanks for post to that forum link, the pics help alot.
My doors came bare, and frankly I didnt even know there was additional linkage until I went to fit the new Tiawan latch that came with none.
The two used latch assemblies that I bought are missing one L lever and havent come yet, but the pic shows square hole on L lever,so the pic on old thread of the one with teardrop hole is different.
Thanks
Tom

Tom - look closer at the picture of the red door in my posting - the "L" lever actually is made of 2 pieces - the "teardrop" hole has to have a pot metal insert (arrow pininting to part #2) inside it to form the square hole. That's the piece I had trouble finding - and you will too - they are nla. You have to source used for those.

Luke,
Thanks. The used latches with one L lever arrived today when I got home.Just looked at it and see what you mean.
Thanks
Tom
