TR2/3/3A TR3 Head

I'm making a little progress on my TR3 while I do home updates ("the honey will you do" list) and tournments. I'm going to be free in Aug and I have on the shelf a Toyota 5 speed, conversion kit, rack and pinion kit, new raditator with fan and sensor.

Starting to get my spare engine together now. I have decided to build the engine myself and am about ready to have the head sent to a machine shop for new valves, seats and a little port and polish. I picked up a TR4 head to start with.

Where to send the head? Has anyone had any experience with a good shop to work the head. I don't mind shipping it at all.

And Bill, The Redfish were everywhere last weekend in Cocodrie. I brought back two coolers of filets. I'm going to be back there for a week starting the 10th of june..

Anyway, I sent my TR6 head to Bill Crosby at CDA Machine, INC.

He is in Webster, NY.

That's why they make UPS delivery.

I was very pleased with Bill's work. He shaved my head and increased my CR to 9.5:1, ported, polished and flowed my intake as well as putting all new high quality valves, guides and springs. Reasonable charges.

Bill works with small LBC race cars and knows his business.

I just had my TR6 head done and the guy did a great job.
Trouble is he is here in Wisconsin.
