Does anyone out there have (or have photos) of a TR3 equipped with original GT kit, including the somewhat different (from later TR3A) door handles?

No answer, but an interesting question. I was unaware that the handle that came in the kit was different from that of later cars (It seems unlikely that ST would design and cast handles for the kits and not use them somewhere else). I suppose it would be interesting to find a survivor car with a "correct" GT kit installed. The pictures I've seen do not have enough resolution to discern the pattern of the handles.
