TR2/3/3A tr3 fuel line

to all,
does anyone have measurements or pictures of the fuel line that goes from the gas tank to the union on a tr3?
Thanks,
Dave

mine is TS37989L. I was just under the car and I can only find the hole in the tube near the cross brace where the union will go. I see in some of the pics there are places to use the pipe clips but I cant find any? my trunk floor and both floors were replaced but that should not effect these mounting points. I already kinked one line so I am using cooper wire to make a template so I can try again to bend the new pipe. I have been fighting with this since before Christmas.
Thanks to all for your help.
Dave

If the floors were replaced you will likely have to drill the holes yourself...but that is just a start. The "O" clips, as Steve calls them, which hold the tube to the floor are NLA. You will have to find someone with some laying around, or make an equivalent yourself.

thanks,
I am still confused as where to route it. I see a clip near the gusset fot the gas tank, but I cant see where it goes from there?

Perhaps work the line from the front back also to get a good idea of the layout. Your vin# is one that might or might not have an in line fuel shut off. Do you know if your car came with a fuel shut off? The shut off is right under the fuel pump and will change the front line some.

I do have the fuel tap, it is installed. I am struggling with the routing of the line that comes out of the tank to the union. It looks to me like it is supposed to clear the exhaust. This is why it has all the bends in it?
Thanks for all of your help.
Dave

The exhaust remains at frame level. The fuel line is entirely above frame level, against the body floor until it reaches the inner wheel well and turns downward. They never come close to one another. The pictures I posted above show the entire run, from tank to union. They overlap. If you study them you will eventually get it.

Another way to think about it is that at the factory the tank and rear line stayed with the body. The line remained clipped its entire run to the body. The forward line remains with the frame, clipped to it for the entire run. Once they are mated, the union is mated too.

Thanks, it is rainy and cold here today so I will crawl under it tomorrow night and have a look. I appreciate every ones help.
