Tr3 Fuel line support clips. My research has shown that the late tr3 without the fuel tap takes the same fuel lines that Moss has listed for a tr4. All that being suggested, I purchased part number (55) 589-055 to put on my late tr3, but I do not see how it could fit. Clearly the fuel lines themselves are the same, the late tr3 and early tr4, but they must be supported different. Anyways does anybody have one of these clips on their tr4.

Have both but never paid attention to whether the clips differ. What aspect of the thing doesn't work... its fitting in the hole in the frame or its grasp of the fuel line?

In this photo you can see a typical clip on my 'post-shutoff' TR3A:

...though if it is the frame connection that won't tell you anything.

More than one on my 4.

It is one of those fussy things Geo. It looks like the clip in the very front right by the fuel pump is different. I ordered one, but it is nothing like the basic fuel clips. It has what looks like an upholstery clip on one end and perhaps a fuel line clip on the other. Moss maintains on their fuel line picture that this clip (55) 589-055 clip goes there?
