TR2/3/3A TR3 Fuel line routing

I took tons of pictures when I took the car apart, but not one of this, go figure. What is the correct routing for the fuel line that runs up the left side of the car to the shutoff? Does it go thru the frame above or below the outrigger tube? What hole does it go thru in the frame at the back near the connection for the fuel line that connects to the tank? The pictures shows two holes, one round and one oval.

Keith,

The frame looks really great. What did you finish it with?

Scott

Thanks John, from your picture it looks like it runs under the tube and thru the outside round hole. I don't like the way that is routed. Seems like it would be very easy to damage the line from debris or jacking. I wonder if the bends were good you could go over the top?

Thanks Scott. the frame was powdercoated satin black.

Keith-

Here's a shot from above of the line going through the frame:

and in fact the line is pinched near there, maybe from an errant jack just like you are worrying about.

Randy

Thanks Randy, Between your picture and John's I can tell for sure how the line was routed. I think I would have to make a new line if I was to route it over the top of the tube.

I was wondering if that was powdercoated!
