TR2/3/3A TR3 Cutaway Print

I just ordered this print which is customized to match my car's colors and equipment. I have no relationship to the artist and am only sharing this because I think it's just cool as h*ll. Mods, if this isn't suitable because the vendor isn't an official forum vendor, please reach out to him to get him to become one because this is just too nice not to share with other Triumph owners. I found it online at:

Under ordering information, you can order a 24" or a 36" version but it doesn't give the other dimension (24"x36" and 36"x54" maybe?).

Thanks for the props. I'd be happy to become a vendor. Let me know what I need to do.

I will just add that David spent a lot of time getting it right for the various models, and did my TR2 just how I want it to look when I'm done! I thought the final product was great!

Hi There David,

"Welcome Aboard". I`m sure this will be a very lucrative site for yourself.

Would you please let me / us know what the dim`s of the print (Length & Width) are for the $80+ print.

Thanx in Advance.

Russ

Jeff,

Thanks for spotlighting David's work. Looking at it online just doesn't do it justice to seeing it in person. I spent some time in his booth at the British Invasion at Stowe, VT this weekend and watching the reaction to his work was just a lot of fun. David's become a very good friend of mine over the last few years, so I'm not totally unbiased, but it's a really rare thing to see someone bring a new artistic perspective on our hobby. Now if I can only get him to start on the Healeys.

Russ,

Dimensions on the small print are 12" x 24" (including a 1 1/4" surround area) and 18" x 36" for the larger print. This is a bit of "enlightened self-interest" but, while the smaller prints are a bit less money, the larger print really lets you see the detail the way I intended it to be seen. That said, not everybody has the wall space for a 36" piece of art.

All my illustrations are printed at 3000 DPI on acid-free, archival quality giclee paper and are numbered and signed (these are limited edition prints). Artwork is shipped to you in a hard mailing tube vis USPS Priority Mail (U.S.) and via 1st class mail for international shipments.

Regards,

David

Thanks for hanging out with me this weekend. Thoroughly enjoyed it. As for the illustrating the Healeys...they're coming. I think sometime in mid-to-late October. Now...back to work on that E-Type Series 1 drawing.

Hi David,

"Thanx" for the dimensional input. I`ll be going back to your site & give the "18 x 36" some serious consideration.

Your to be new customer.

Russ

Thanks - I think I will approach him.
Basil,

Would love to become a vendor here. If the information is available on the site, can you point me in the right direction?

Thanks,
David

I hope I haven't duplicated this but didn't see my response post. Would love to become a vendor. Can you point me in the right direction?

A few words about changes to the artwork that aren't listed on the order form.

I've had a few people contact me about small changes to my standard artwork so I thought I'd try and put a finer point on the order form.

I try to include the most popular options—spot lamps, windings, and the like—but there are many more that I have not included (luggage racks, etc.). Same goes with the exterior/interior color options. If you have something in particular that I don't have listed, please, just enter your changes in the "Special Instructions" box on the order form. As a long as it isn't totally ridiculous (like a front air dam or rear wing) I'll do my best to accommodate your request, usually at no additional cost. If I can't, I'll let you know.

Thanks for you interest and, especially, to those who have ordered prints.

Best Regards,

David

Hey David,

I found the extra cost for the 18 x 36 ($20.00) & I feel its well worth it. To me; Its like buying a 1/24 scale diecast vs. 1/18th. No comparison!!

Relative to statement above; My car is Red with Black Int. piped in White. Would the "White Piping" request be considered OK?

Thanx, Russ

Yep, white piping is okay. Just note it in the Special Instructions box.

All print orders shipped out today (Saturday). Domestic mailings should be there by Tuesday (maybe Monday in some locales), international shipments should arrive by the end of the week. THanks to all who have ordered.
