TR2/3/3A TR3 Clutch Pipe

I just got a new clutch pipe. The one that goes from the clutch master down to the flex hose. The problem is that I can't find my old pipe to use as a template for bending.

Anyone out there have a pic or two that shows the routing?? All my books with pictures show RHD. Not much help. :wall:
 
Aloha Art,

I don't have a photo, so here is my description. It leaves the master and loops over to the outside of the pedal box at the back of the fluid reservoir. It goes forward flat against the bulkhead to the front of the pedal box and the drops down the front of the bulkhead an inch or so. It then bends over toward the inner fender and then down to the flexible line connection. There is a metal hold down clip that hold the pipe to the bulkhead near the front of the pedal box.

I'm sure Don will be along son with a photo or two.

Here's another. I have a very early TR3A (TS 27489 LO) so the output pipes are straight up like on the TR2s and all the TR3s. Later TR3As had the outlets inclined forward about 45 degrees, but the piping is similar.

Art - Look again at the 2nd photo. See how the pipe is secured with a clamp to the screw head which also holds the return heater hose transfer tube after the clutch pipe turns down towards the bottom.
 
Ah, yes I see that. Is that the only place it's secured?
 
It is also secured right down at the bottom end where the pipe is connected to the flex hose that feeds the clutch slave cylinder. The connection is sandwiched in a slotted flange about 1" wide and 1.5" long that is welded at one end to the sloped part of the frame. The pipe has to follow the contour of the firewall back towards the firewall, then down to this slotted flange.
 
Yes, I see that on my frame. However, it's not slotted. It has a hole in it. The slotted bracket is higher up the slope for the gas tap.

OK, I'm out to the garage to do the bending and install.

In my semi-dark garage, peering straight down under my windscreen washer bottle, well you get the idea why I thought it was a slot.
