TR2/3/3A TR3 Brakes

It's time to get the TR3 ready after a few too many years of being parked.

Is it ok to hone the wheel cylinders or are they anodized aluminum inside the bore and honing will wear off the hardened layer?

The same question applies to the master cylinder and slave cylinder.

Thanks.
Ron

Best I can tell, there is no hardened layer. It's just a rubber seal running against soft aluminum alloy.

But if there is enough pitting to require honing, then probably it is too bad to hone out and you will have to either sleeve or replace them.
