TR2/3/3A TR3 bargain?

What's the definition of "minimal rust"? Tom

I paid more than that for my 57 and it is disassembled. I guess somebody needs to contact the seller and ask what "minimal rust" means. And true, La Grande is a bit out of the way. It is even a long haul for me at 5 hours one way on I84, and I'm already in Oregon

Looks like a pretty nice smallmouth on ebay right now in Syracuse ny.
Will be intereting to see how high it goes.
Tom

There are a lot of things wrong on that car to be 1956, if you go by the vin#. I understand that it may have been sold in 1957. My guess it's a TR3A with a small mounth apron. I asked for information on the body tags but got none. All he said was thanks for the information. It does look like a nice car though.

For self serving reasons (I will someday sell mine), I like to see the cars go for the highest price possible. Agreed this is probably a TR3a since nothing in the photos or text looks or sounds like a 56 (57 title). The frame dirt bothers me. A total restoration 5 years ago ought to be less cruddy and rusty. All that aside if it runs well the price still isn't as high as a more original car would/should cost. IMO

Hi Folks,

That "Small Mouth" has a "TR3" VIN# but Door Handles that are`nt supposed to be there: Boot lid has a Turn Handle Lock (Wrong) & "Other Stuff" that shows this TR to be possibly put together from "Other Cars".

Pending the selling price; I guess Its an OK car to play with on some Back Country Roads.

My $.02:
