TR4/4A TR3-4A timing cover tensioner

IMO Bill made a mistake. That's not a TRactor motor cover.

It's not from one of the 3s or 4s. Those slid over the engine plate pin inside the cover, with a washer and cotter pin then to hold it. That cover, and the pin arrangement must be off a newer car like a TR250 or a 6, as stated above--and as advertised.

Mine's a tractor motor. I just got 2 more cylinders that makes it tractoresque.

I am with Kentvillehound...My guess is that it's from a 6.

Check your Haynes and let us know, and please be brief.

Cheers,

He must read this board - its advertised for a 250 or a 6 now!

Nah, he's kind of a friend ... I told him.

Bill, a variant of the 4-cylinder engine found in TR2-4A was literally used in a production tractor, the Ferguson TEA-20.

Note to Kentvillehound: Bill (of the subject listing) has a lot of TR parts he is clearing out just in case you need anything... especially something cheap and heavy as he is located here in Tucson and you could avoid shipping.
