TR2/3/3A TR3-4 owners: wheel poll

When I was 20, I bought my 1958 TR3A brand new 49 years ago. I didn't want wire wheels because of the extra cost - about $100.00. But also, everyone talked about the problems with wire wheels going square ! Steel wheels were "MODERN TECHNOLOGY" !

So I bought mine with steel wheels and I like it just like that.

Factory steel wheels look great. I like the look of the original steel wheels better than wires on TR3's, though I suspect that is a minority opinion.

Here's a pic of factory steel wheels w/ SS trim rings.... I found these in the trunk, but I don't know if they're factory or not...

BTW, I love the look of Randall's wheels.... those are my favorites!
