TR5/TR250 TR250 - gear reduction starter install

I finally have been able to budget some time to install the GRS in the 250. I have removed the old, original pre-engaged type unit along with three spacing rings. Is it necessary to re-use the rings with the GRS to maintain the proper 0.09375 - 0.1563 inch mesh clearance? Thanks

Hi Frank - I did not use the ring spacer on my TR6 with the gear reduction starter and it works fine. YMMV
