I am looking at TR250 badges, mine came without, I have acquired most of them except the hood badge, Roadster Factory has them on sale, and claim there's are better, but even on sale they are nearly twice as much as I can buy them elsewhere.

TRF is on sale for $130, Victoria Brit is $70, and e-bay seems to have good originals from time to time for over $100.

What is my best bet?, I don't need perfect, but don't want crap either.

I bought one from TRF a couple of years ago. The first one they sent me was not great, the enamel "ran" onto the chrome in places. I sent it back, and the replacement was much, much better. The chrome is really deep and the enamel looks great. This was when they first had them back in stock after being NLA for a while so I may have just got a bad-um.

So if you do order from TRF, only except it if it is up to par.

I guess you could order from 2 or 3 of the above, and see how they compare, then send back the ones you don't want. Would cost you the postage, but that should not amount to too much for a badge.

Hope that helps.

Rob.

I purchased some badges from TRF for my TR250 and they were very nice. The ones on the deck lid and the rear fenders.

I returned some trim rings to VB last year because of very poor quality. Seems like I'm not as thrilled with their quality of products as TRFs'. VB has nice interiors though. You can always return it if it's not the quality you want and for that kind of a price difference it's worth a shot..

Try team triumph. I know Scott parted out a TR250 about 2 years ago and remember the badge sitting on the counter.330 392 7176, teamtri@aol.com.
