TR2/3/3A TR2 Review

Neat. Uncle Tom did his road tests in such an enjoyable writing style. If he didn't like some design or performance aspect of a vehicle, there wasn't any sugar coating.

Neat period story, I sent the link to my buddy who has a rough and ready TR2.

I think I read somewhere that the TR2 would out drag ANY american car to 50 or 60 or something like that when it came out, this changed very quickly in the next few years as the big three starting ramping up displacement and horsepower rapidly in the 50s and of course on into the 60s, but for a while there the Brits really were on top of the game.

I like TeriAnn's comment at the end....

Howdy Folks,

Cool Article. Thanx for posting. I`m going to have to have a "Tee Shirt" made up with that statement: "Hairy Chested, Fire Spitting Wildcat" with a pic of my TR3 on it when She`s finished.

Regards, Russ

Doesn't seem all that bothered by the execrable brake performance.

Diabolical combination of a lot of go without a lot of 'stop'.
