Finding the L525 lens is a piece of cake compared to finding the lamp base and especially the rim, which was pretty much unique to the early TR2. The rest of the lamp was pretty common on British cars of the late 1940s and early 1950s such as the early MG-TD and was a common "add-on" taillamp in the later 1950s when UK lighting regulations changed and many older cars were "upgraded" thusly. Also on the TR2, the rear fender profile changed slightly, as did some inner rear fender structure. The L525 lamp base set into the body a bit, requiring a small "cavity" area, while the later L594 is pretty much a "surface mount" lamp.
