TR2/3/3A TR2/3 Trany needed

Betcha nickel the shift interlock is screwed up. We had a very similar problem on one where one of the balls had rolled out of place while inserting it's rod.

What I don't recall now is whether we were able to reuse that top cover, or had to switch to a different one.
 
Hi,

I have a complete transmission from a 1962 TR-3B which has the syncro 1st gear. My car is #TCF-486L. It was working fine before I had it removed last year to have an OD unit installed. It is in my garage in a shipping crate.

If the box wont shift as described, then it is likely that the spacers on the main shaft are not right.I am afraid you need to tear it down and go through it with the manual in hand.....
