This car is my daily driver; I keep it outdoors with no cover (which is why it's dirty at the moment, we get an incredible amount of dust here). It's only been a few months since it was painted, but so far it's held up reasonably well. There are a couple of chips that I need to take it back for (supposed to be guaranteed against chips for several years), but nothing too major.tdskip said:
My attitude is that the paint job is only temporary. Parking in a public lot every day, it's bound to pick up "parking lot rash", plus sand and gravel from the road will take their toll. If it lasts 5 or 6 years, I'll be happy. Next time I get it painted, I may even switch back to the proper 'smallmouth' apron. Maybe by then I'll find (or make) the reveal molding around the grille
