After a year of sheet metal repairs, the main body structure is finally in epoxy primer. I concentrated on covering the upper most structure first, next the floors and flip to tackle the remainder.

Thanks! Its hard to see in these pics,but there is lower bracing utilizing the 4 chassis mount plates located at the inner sill and a cross brace system that goes from the door hinge to the back of the door striker area which also crosses from side to side. She ain't goin nowhere! JD

Cart in front of the horse.Great HORNEY TOADIES !!!Where are the floor pans????Now you get to burn up all the paint and sealer when you weld in the stuff that should have gone in first!!!!

Are you planning on closing up the gap between the inner sill and the side inner panel as well....Might add a little more strength...Nice work so far...just a few thing I noticed....check my links and feel free to look at my area still needing work.
 
No problem. I left those areas pretty much primer free. I wanted the floors off because I did not want them to impede the path for a complete primer coverage. There was also a little sand blaster scheduling that came into play. Actually it's not uncommon to have the entire structure completely stripped and E coated then remove primer at the areas of repair. If you are doing the repairs over an extended period of time, you don't have to watch a bare chassis waste away.
 
Those inner dog leg panels I folded up because they sandwich the floor panel flange. Once the floors are in, those get tapped back down and spot welded to the floor flange.
