TR keys from numbers

Better yet, you can get old original keys to match your numbers. There are 2 guys who have rounded up used keys and NOS keys and sell them by the numbers.

Nice to have a set that is the real thing (with the Union/Wilmot Breeden name) rather than the locksmith variety.

Pete Groh -- https://britishcarkeys.com/

George Richardson -- couldn't find a link

You may need to contact both to find your number.

I found this in my 'archives'...

Pete Groh here, Ellicott City, Md I get the TR digest and saw your question on keys, FS series. The blank you are looking for in Curtis, UN 18; Taylor & Dominion S71B; Ilco BR16.

I cut key by code, cost is $10.00 each; un-cut american key blank; $4.00. I also have the orginal wilmot breeden keys, letters/numbers stamped on same. Cost is $15.00 each.

Keys can be located in old locksmith shops, hardware stores. I have found the key also in Farm type Feed stores. The key is also used on early Volvo's. If your travels take you to Phoenix, try Todd's as below. I have a web page at https://britishcarkeys.com

If you order from me, make check payable to Pete Groh.

Hope this is of some help, Best regards and happy holiday. [/QUOTE]

I've purchased keys from both Pete and George -- both are doing a real service to our hobby.

P.S. That message is 6 years old so the prices have probably changed.
