This photo was among many posted on another forum by someone visiting the Spa Francorchamps Race Track Museum. Anyone here know anything about this TR? Looks like no other TR I've seen.

Neat. Love the fixed roof and roll-up windows. Kind of a "XK150 coupe" look.

Extremely rare car hand made by Imperia in Belgium in both both long door and short door form from TR2 CKD kits.

There was more work in them than appears at first glance as the doors were lengthened and made higher to allow wind up windows. Elbow room was rather tight, so the steering column had to be moved inboard. The floors had to be lowered too for more head room. A plexiglass roof panel can just be seen in the pic which was incorporated to make the interior feel more spacious, but in fact made the car uncomfortably hot. Because the Francorchamps ended up so expensive, only 22 examples were delivered with a little over half those surviving, including one known to reside in North America.
