The deconstruction on the 72 TR6 is almost complete! Should have the frame etc ready to go to the sandblaster by next week...just need a little more sunshine (for him).
The engine block in in the shop and moving along well...and hope to pick it up and start assembly very soon.
Challenge now is getting the body ready to head to the shop and be "dipped". He wants us to get all the undercoating off
so the body does not gunk up his tank.
Any help out there in Forum-Land on how to remove the undercoating? Anyone try that "Aircraft Paint Remover" here?
Any tips...GREATLY appreciated!

There is no "good" way to remove undercoat. You can take a hot air gun to the backside of the panel and scrape it off. I never tried chemical stripping because I didn't want to be inhaling the stuff for hours on end.
I primarily used a stiff putty knife with rounded edges so not to gouge the panels.
Regardless of the method, it takes time and elbow grease.
